Cortijo Los Malenos

Located in the heart of the Parque Natural de Cabo de Gata, the Cortijo Los Malenos is a finca of over 70.000 metres, in a quiet spot close to Agua Amarga, Fernán Pérez and Carboneras, and about four kilometres from the Mediterranean. A peaceful, quiet place in the countryside, with all the facilities and comforts of a small hotel. There are thirteen spacious rooms each with a luxurious bathroom. Five face east (three with two beds - la Pita, la Chumbera y la Buganvilla) and two with double beds (la del Algarrobo and la Parra). There is one room facing south with a large bed (la de Enmedio) and three north-facing rooms with large beds (la Higuera, la Acequia y la Granada). There is a special Casita with large bed in the bedroom, full bathroom and small kitchen - a lovely solution if you are planning to stay for many days and prefer a self-catering option on occasion. The rooms are simply and pleasingly decorated with white fabrics and comfortable furnishings. There is a swimming pool in the grounds, and many pleasant terraces in the shade or sun, where you can relax with a drink or a book. There are several patios on the property, close to the bodega. The Rose Patio is used in summer months for concerts and flamenco. The Patio de la Fuente is surrounded by the largest rooms (and for their use). The Patio del Horno is surrounded by the rooms la Granada, la Acequia and la Higuera. The Casita has its own patio with access from the dining room. Evening meals should be ordered at breakfast time. There is a laundry service, minibar in the rooms, library, and bikes for guest use.
