The Junior Suite is the only room that has a sofa bed. This Room has independent exit to the street.

The town of Altea is one of the prettiest of the coastal resorts in Spain. It was once a fortress of the Hapsburg Empire and the old town's location on a hill is exceptionally attractive, with its blue-tiled church domes.

Cancellation Policy: If a reservation is cancelled 10 days or more prior to arrival the hotel will do their best to rebook your room. If they are not able to rebook it then they will charge 10% of the total amount of the booking. If the reservation is cancelled 10 days or less prior to arrival, the 50% deposit will be kept by the hotel. In case of no show or a shortened stay the hotel will charge the full amount of the booking.

A three-story mansion with just ten ensuite rooms, it is a delightful place to stay. There is a restaurant serving regional cuisine, a hammam, private parking, and a large terrace facing southwest with a swimming pool. The hotel has views to the sea and to the old town. The guestrooms are a delight, from the soft lightning to the touch of the linen sheets. All have full bathrooms (the suite having a big bathtub) and some have seaviews and terraces. The rooms at the rear of the hotel overlook a quiet street of whitewashed houses. The Hammam at Hotel La Serena is an intimate, luxurious space where you can enjoy a Turkish bath. It is open to all guests (but you must book first). The restaurant specialises in fresh fish from the bay (note that during July and August it is only open for dinners. The rest of the of the year the restaurant is also open at midday). Enjoy dinner in the beautiful dining room or, in summer, on the terrace. Note that a 50% deposit is required upon booking. the hotel was very contemporary but still warm and friendly with everything we could have needed. we also had a wonderful lunch by the pool at the hotel - we would definatly recommed it.
