Casa del Maco

Close to Benissa and 17 km. from Javea, is Casa del Maco, set in the foothills of the Lleus Valley. This charming, and tastefully restored eighteenth century Finca is surrounded by 4000 square metres of terraced land and vineyards, olive and almond orchards. There are just five beautifully decorated charming ensuite guestrooms, each with air conditioning, satellite television and fridge. One of the rooms has a private patio overlooking the hills of Pou Roig. It is pleasant to enjoy the outdoor pool and the garden terrace and there is a bright and attractive restaurant offering haute cuisine and a wide range of fine wines. The restaurant has a sophisticated charm in a romantic setting and the cuisine is essentially French. You may dine on the terrace in the summer time. The owner, Bert de Vooght, is a photographer and the setting and decor of this inn reflects his expert eye for composition. Half board is available. Note minimum stay in July and August.
